The cadmium telluride thin-film solar cell consists of five essential layers: Glass substrate, Transparent Conductive Oxide (TCO), Cadmium Sulfide (CdS) window layer, Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) absorption layer, and the back contact/electrode.
